I beat Richter and it works fine on Saroo cart. then I tried again to start over and it went to the black screen. well went to the bathroom for a few minutes came back and it loaded the opening video. so I was wrong. it works on the Saroo cart. it just takes a few minutes on the black screen. only other thing I seen was the fairy said she would obey at a hidden wall and should say something is weird about the wall. but not important. glad the game can be [played from the start, just need to wait a few minutes on the black screen. sorry I thought it didn't work because it hung on so long playing on my Saroo cart.

 I was able to find the original two track Bin files on Myrient and was able to patch the ISO. after it was finish it only had one Bin fill and cue. is this how it's supposed to work? because the ISO doesn't work right on my Saroo cart. when starting a new game with Alucard the game gets stuck before the opening video of the map and Castle, just a black screen. I can load up a save, and it plays. and play as Richter or Maria with a new game and it loads. the ultimate version loads fine on Saroo cart on my Saturn. maybe because it has two Bin tracks? IDK but this is a bug that needs fixing on the patch. just wanted to let you know. hope you can fix it. I will pick up my save from the first Maria meeting and see if there is any more problems on the Saroo cart. thanks for your hard work. still looking forward to your English text PSX Dub version. thank you.

The first time I played the Saturn version, it was in Japanese. So I played in English and finally I'm playing in Portuguese. This mod is focused on Portuguese translation with the option to patch for Japanese or English audio. The Medusa team has an English translation on their forum. But it's a good opportunity to practice your Portuguese with this translation here on the forum!

Rafael said he would do an English text patch. that's why I mentioned it because he said that. but I will play this version until that patch is made. and I'm the kind of person that plays SOTN over and over. so, I'm just looking for the version, that I can enjoy and understand. I don't enjoy The Medusa team version. I may not understand this one but with the PSX Dub I enjoy it. far as me practicing my Portuguese. I may be partly Spanish, but my father died when I was 6 months old and my mom is white. so, after 48 years of never learning Spanish, I don't think I'll be trying to learn Portuguese, that I think is another form of Spanish. I'm an old dog no new tricks for me. and all. I have a bunch of brain fog these days bad health and all. but I can go on looks alone on the items in game. and muddle through. and I am very grateful to Rafael he has done something wonderful that The Medusa team refuse to even think about and refuse to help others who wanted to do it. Rafael is very helpful and nice guy. a real hero for this Mod. anyway, I do hope he can find out the bug that makes that black screen happen on the Saroo cart. seems it's probably when it plays a video in game. so it will probably also happen going to the 2nd castle and beating the game. I have yet to test it but will once I get there. take care.

I have problems trying to patch the ISO before. I got lucky and someone uploaded the patched ISO of the ultimate version on Castlevania Mods group on Facebook. I would like to patch this version so I can play with PSX voices. my first problem is...

I don't have the original two track Bin files. only ISO I found online was the one file Bin file. now I have the Ultimate version already patched. do you all think I can repatch it with this patch?

2nd problem. I tried it and it didn't try to patch it. just flashed and never loaded. probably need to do it in MS DOS. if so, what are the command lines to use to patch the ISO? and if the problem is a already patched ISO, how can I make a multi-track ISO. because I understand I cannot ask you all for a ISO. would be very happy for any help on this from more knowledgeable people. thank you very much for any help.

I would love to have the English text version and PSX Dub. since I only understand English. and love PSX Dub. anyway, thanks again for any help. got my Sega Saturn fixed and want to play this. got the PSP version but hate those voices.

thanks for doing so much for everyone. I'm so looking forward to the English text psx Dub version. when you get time, no hurry. I have to order another Sarro cart and it won't be here till next month. damn drug head broke in my house and stole mine. lucky for me the Sega Saturn was being worked on. so, he didn't steel my Saturn. can't wait till I get my new cart and my S-video mod done on my Saturn. really looking forward to playing this. anyway, thank you for all your hard work on the Saturn NITM rom. you are my hero.

my Sega Saturn has a short in the AV plug on the board. but since Rafael going to put the PSX Dub on the Ultimate version with the English Subtitles. I took it to get it soldered today. hope it doesn't cost too much. haven't really wanted to play it much since I only had the Ultimate version with the PSP Dub, and I hate the PSP Dub. I lost interest real quick and wasn't that big of a deal to me, even though I was very happy Paul, and the group made the mod. I just been playing my port of the PSX Dub to the PSP. but once I get Rafael's English PSX Dub version. I think the Saturn will be the only version I will ever want to play again. been putting off fixing my Saturn for a while, but I love SOTN with the PSX Dub. so going to enjoy having the Saturn version with the best Dub!! want to say thank you again Rafael

BTW didn't you have a YouTube channel? I think I remember seeing you editing Richter's sprite set on there. wouldn't mind trying to put fancy Ritchter's sprite set in this game. always wanted to see him wear that outfit he is wearing in his picture.

Medusa team released a ULTIMATE VERSION with full text translation, but PSP dub, I will port the ps1 dub to MEDUSA PATCH with english text soon.
