ABOUT THE GAME

Alex Kidd in Shadow World is a brand-new ROM hack based on Alex Kidd in Miracle World for the Sega Master System.

After a long period of peace, a mysterious force emerges from the Shadow World. The powerful Dark Wizard kidnaps the princess and unleashes an army of dark creatures across the kingdom.

Alex Kidd must travel through brand-new worlds filled with dangerous forests, mountains, caves, castles, and secret areas. Along the way, he will face new enemies, powerful bosses, and increasingly difficult challenges to restore peace to the kingdom.

The hack preserves the gameplay and charm of the original classic while introducing an entirely new adventure.

HOW TO INSTALL

1. Obtain a clean copy of the compatible ROM.

2. Open Rom Patcher JS (or any IPS patching tool).

3. Select the original ROM.

4. Select the Alex Kidd in Shadow World.ips patch.

5. Click Apply Patch.

6. Save the patched ROM and play it on a Sega Master System, flash cartridge, or compatible emulator.
